Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (nascido em 30 de março de 1945) é um guitarrista, vocalista e compositor inglês. Clapton é o único indicado três vezes ao Hall da Fama do Rock and Roll: uma vez como artista solo e separadamente como membro do The Yardbirds e Cream. Clapton tem sido referido como um dos guitarristas mais importantes e influentes de todos os tempos. Clapton ficou em quarto lugar na lista da revista Rolling Stone dos "100 maiores guitarristas de todos os tempos" e em quarto lugar na lista dos 50 melhores guitarristas de todos os tempos da Gibson.
