Biografia
Frances Ethel Gumm (Grand Rapids, 10 de junho de 1922 — Londres, 22 de junho de 1969), mais conhecida pelo nome artístico Judy Garland, foi uma atriz, cantora, dançarina e artista de vaudeville estadunidense, considerada por muitos uma das principais estrelas cantoras da era de ouro de Hollywood dos filmes musicais. Garland recebeu o Óscar Juvenil, um prêmio especial em reconhecimento pela sua atuação em The Wizard of Oz e Babes in Arms na 12ª Edição do Óscar, que aconteceu em 1940, ganhou um Globo de Ouro por A Star Is Born (1954), e foi a primeira mulher a receber o Prémio Cecil B. DeMille em 1962.
