A lovely Argentine-Colombian film, that classic about spoiled rich people who become poor, but here with the father trolling his children, a more layered comedy, and so current, given the permissive education (the opposite of positive) that we have seen, just like in the film, parental alienation of present parents, bad parenting is usually linked to the parents' mistakes, rather than the children's behavior, a fun film, with a powerful message... Manuel Rico is a widower and lives with his three children in the family mansion located in the savannah of Bogotá. Manuel does everything for his children to compensate for their mother's absence, but he has also been a somewhat absent father due to his professional obligations. Overwhelmed by the grief of having raised three irresponsible bums, Manuel suffers a heart attack. Then, everything changes. His company was reported for embezzlement and all his assets were seized, forcing his naughty children to hide in an old, dilapidated house, and last but not least, they will have to do what they never imagined: work for the first time in their lives. Remake of 'Los Nobles: Quando os Rico Quebram a Cara' (Nosotros los Nobles), from 2013.
