A 2018 independent film directed by Alex Ranarivelo and written by him, Hadeel Reda and JR Reher. It is based on the true story of Scottish BMX rider John Buultjens @johnbuultjens (some minor changes, such as his mother not dying, he reconciled with her in the future, I couldn't find any information about his brother), a troubled boy from a neo-Nazi family who is raised by an interracial couple. What a beautiful film, it made me feel so angry and so much love, at the same time, I wanted to cry a lot, holding back the tears at my desk... The inspiring story of a BMX champion who overcame an abusive childhood through the love and life lessons of his interracial adoptive family.
