A partial and free adaptation of a Chilean novel, "El Fantasista", where the actors who play the role also play soccer, but he appears much less than I imagined, almost as a backdrop and final outcome... The film itself is quite lukewarm, with some good, funny scenes (like the shaking player), pleasant accents (I love them), romance, a well-constructed interior setting (police car, straight from the 60s), and the ending, tragic and exciting, as soccer always is, painful, oscillating between extreme joy and absolute sadness... Two small towns 9 km apart and a legendary rivalry. On the Brazilian side, the residents of Belezura, a town where people survive on jobs in a furniture factory, are about to face two events that will change their lives: the closing of the factory and the last soccer game against their archrivals from the Argentine neighborhood, which, for them, is just the last game before the end of the world. But they all agree on one thing - they must win, even if it means giving their own lives for it.
