What a beautiful film, a necessary parallel between the contemporary world and the good deeds of Mother Teresa, the young woman and her questioning about why abortion is not legalized and a mortal sin (with the pun on sin, which I also support, although I would not do it)... The technical quality was lacking, but the courage is admirable and the message conveyed successfully, in addition to information for donations... "Those brought to the home received medical attention and the opportunity to die with dignity, according to their faith: Muslims were to read the Koran, Hindus were given water from the Ganges and Catholics were given extreme unction. "A beautiful death," said Mother Teresa, "is for people who have lived like animals to die like angels - loved and desired."" Mother Teresa of Calcutta, one of the few canonized saints of our day, is discovered through the eyes of Kavita, a young Englishwoman abandoned by her boyfriend after she’s found to be pregnant. Kavita journeys to Calcutta to escape her pain and soon discovers that even holy people like Mother Teresa have to face life’s challenges and, in fact, struggle through years of spiritual crisis known as the “dark night of the soul”. Inspired by Teresa’s example of perseverance and compassionate love, Kavita rediscovers hope and purpose.
